High Reps or Low Reps When Trying to Achieve Muscle Tone?

The question in the title of this post is one that I have probably heard more than any other in the past five or so years. And the answer I give usually shocks people. Most think the exact opposite of what I tell them. Then when I ask them why they thought what they did they really have no answer. It's funny how we hear or read something somewhere and just believe it to be true without having any real understanding of why and how something works. People just go to the gym and lift a certain way
